{a} A piece of specially coated chipboard or corrugated board is placed on the vacuum platen of the machine with the product just resting on it.
{b}Tough plastic film is heated to a precise temperature, then brought down over the product.
{c} A vacuum is now pulled through the board. This bonds the film to the board, sandwiching the product and locking it securely in place.
{d} As the finished board is moved out of the machine for use or for final processing, the film automatically threads itself, ready for the next cycle.
